Atheros hits the top line estimate and beats bottom line by 6 cents. Looks good... but with stock trading at 17* the out-year estimate and their ties to the PC market, which will show more seasonality than recent years past, I'm not interested in buying it here.
I like the wifi market but I also think its going to be much trickier from here. 802.11n handles video and its quickly becoming the mainstream option on store-bought notebooks. That means 802.11n is going to turn into a price compression market as we move through 2008.
