Microsoft lost 500 mil in online services last quarter. Chi Mei, the #2 panel maker in Taiwan, is delaying production at an already built plant to build 50 + inch LCD panels. Previously, Chi Mei had expected to ship product from said plant in 2H09. Rumors continue to circulate that ailing Taiwanese DRAM manufacturers could all merge together. Nokia is rapidly losing the battle for the smartphone market, leaving them stuck in a low margin, third world hell.
